Science

This week we are looking at how changes to the environment through fire and flooding can affect living things.

Please have a look at the PDF files below.

You can then use the sheet I have attached or work on paper to make notes of your ideas for how fire and floods might affect the living things and sources of food in an area.

Geography

This week is all about magnificent mountains!

A PowerPoint and fact cards PDF are available for you to have a look at.

Challenge: Design a poster or fact book about mountains across the world. You can include pictures and drawings to make it look exciting. Be creative!

Maths

This week's Maths is all about addition and subtraction.

Please choose 3 activities from the Maths PDF resources below.

I have attached a homework grid which gives the opportunity to choose a task from a range of maths units which is also listed below.

Instructions for each resource is on the worksheet.

I will upload the maths booklet answers at the end of the week.

English

Choose three tasks to complete from the English PDF tasks below.

• Creative Writing PDF - Please choose 2 picture prompt sheets, can you finish the sentence starters?
• Year 3 & 4 Fiction, Non Fiction and Poetry PDF - Read the short story and answer the questions.
• Spelling - Weekly spellings are available; including cursive handwriting practice and relevant word searches. Please complete these each week and arrange a day to have weekly spelling tests at home.
