Week Beginning 23rd March

Geography:

This weeks lessons focuses on the physical geography of rivers both in the UK but also more locally.

You will need to look at the physical geography slides on the link below selecting Rivers from the start menu.

Once you have worked through the slides complete the three different activities that follow on as outlined in the plan for the sessions. Have fun!

Science:

This week is all about separating mixtures!

Please have a look at the screens on Types of change and mixtures and solutions which you have been allocated on Active Learn, using your log in details. I know that some of you have been having problems accessing the Active Learn site so I have hopefully put the screens you need to watch onto this page!

You will also need to have a look at the power point about Supermarket Chaos before having a go at the practical activities as well as completing the sheet I have attached. You can work in one of the books that you brought home in your pack or else print the sheet to use.

 Complete any 3 tasks from the  maths activity booklets below and any 3 of the English options.

You will find copies of some of this work in your Home Learning folders. Either complete your work in your booklets or in the exercise books that we have provided in your Home Learning folders. Have fun!

Spellings - in your Home Learning folders you will find copies of your weekly spelling words, wordsearches (or other activity) and cursive handwriting sheets. Please complete these each week and arrange a day to have weekly spelling tests at home.

As an extension task, make up sentences for each of your spelling words, to show that you understand the meaning of each word and can write it in the correct context.
