English

Story Writing! This week your challenge is to write a story. Fiction? Non-Fiction? It's up to you!

• Every good author starts with a plan, the Story Mountain worksheet is a fun and practical story planning resource that will help you plot your amazing ideas.
• I have uploaded a 'story checklist' and 'sentence openers' PDF to help you get started.

Maths

This week maths is based on money!

• With these money worksheets, you can practise your addition and also reinforce knowledge of British money and coins. 
• Maths challenge cards will help you to develop a greater understanding of money by exploring and solving a variety of problems. You will need to apply what you have learnt about adding (and subtracting) money to find a range of possible answers. Answers are included.

Science

This week we are starting our new summer half term topic all about plants. 

Have a look at my lesson outline and spend your time this week exploring what you already know about the parts of plants.

If possible use the outside environment of your garden or a local green area to help you observe the real thing.
