Last week you looked at exploring the world of microorganisms further by hunting for possible signs of decay and creating a poster before having a go at making your own composter! I hope the composter has been useful!
This week you will be using the scientifically agreed classification system to identify animals before having a go at constructing your own key to identify plants from your garden or park.
Please have a look at my plan below and follow each of the activities set out for you to do. Again use your Active Learn log in details to access any screens or videos that you need.
Here are two extended English lessons to complete, ideally on Monday and Tuesday morning. Both lessons are suitable for both year 5 and year 6 as they contain a variety of elements, so that you can complete as much of them as you can - but please do not put yourselves under any pressure to complete them all.
In the first session you can look at images and a short clip about tigers. You can then write descriptive phrases before reading 'The Tyger' by William Blake.
In the second lesson, you can answer questions about 'The Tyger' and look at William Blake's illustrations.
