Here are two extended English lessons to complete, ideally on Monday and Tuesday morning. Both lessons are suitable for both year 5 and year 6 as they contain a variety of elements, so that you can complete as much of them as you can - but please do not put yourselves under any pressure to complete them all.
In the first session you can read a Michael Rosen poem about the NHS entitled 'These are the hands'.You can highlight nouns and verbs and then use the format of this poem to help you generate ideas for your own similar poem.
In the second lesson, you read 'Certainty'. You can think about what your life might be like in six-months time. What possibilities could there be? What can you be sure about? You can record your ideas.
The lessons and videos you will need this week are split into Year 5 and Year 6. Please select your year group below to access the work.
This is the final week of our work on 'Our Bodies'.
This week's session pulls together all you have learnt about our amazing body. You will be thinking about the possible effects of an unhealthy lifestyle and what we understand when we talk about drugs and medicines.
Please have a look at the plan and follow each of the activities set out for you to do. Again use your Active Learn log in details to access any screens or videos that you need.
Next week we will be moving on to learning about how we classifying living things.
